I just had a thought. Original Gowther and Granny Bora telling the children of the Demon Realm stories, whether it was of their time in the war or otherwise. Or being their words of wisdom whenever someone needed some advice on something. Both Meliodas and Zeldris came to them as they explored their sexuality or if they had other advice that they needed answers to.

Of course, the two elders were very reassuring and calmed the two down as they told the brothers that it was alright for them to feel romantic or physical attraction towards someone of the same gender. Zeldris with Arthur and Meliodas with Ban.

I just had the coolest idea for how demon economy might work but I don't know shit about money so idk if it'd actually be liable. It's an either or system where they'd trade currency just like Brottania but there's also usually a list of materials and items the seller would be willing to trade for. So either a demon can pay a flat price in money or they can barter for goods with materials. I.e. say... Granny Bora was a baker. She'd usually price bread maybe 3 gold pieces, but if someone didn't have the gold but had a chicken she'd take 9 eggs for it and you'd be able to barter with her. Eggs are something a baker would need so it'd be a win-win situation

Oh I love that idea! That sounds super interesting. I can definitely see it going both ways, as it can also benefit those demons who may be homeless or don't have any currency as you said.

Granna Bora as a baker is perfect by the way. Like it makes me imagine her making treats from the human world and giving it to the children of the demon realm. Or one of those grannies that makes cookies with milk as an after-school snack. (I'd like to think she made treats for Meliodas after a training session).

But I'm getting WAY off topic here. Maybe only the royals were able to have money, and a few of the peasants. As I believe that finding gold to make the coins was very hard to do. Meliodas probably observed the humans as they exchanged currency while he was trying to get a potion or something from the Human realm.

Ooh yes! I was actually thinking of how the girls would interact with Original Gowther, and how kind and caring he was towards the girls the other day.

But she would be the best granny ever towards them, and love them endlessly. She would always be there for them and tell them stories of when she was in the Demon king's army or other old stories of whene she was younger.

Meliodas just sits a few yards away, a smile on his face as he watches his daughters interact with the old woman.

And if anyone has any shit to say but the girls or Meliodas, you bet your ass Granny Bora will beat the sense into them and force them to apologize for the mean thing that they said.
