People complain about their being too many movies version on spiderman but fall silent on Captain America
Dick Purcell, the first Captain America
Okay, but here's my question: In issue 200 something, Steve says he doesn't have a middle name and NEVER had a middle name. Did the comics writer who first used "Steven Grant Rogers" decide to use Grant based on the 1944 serial, or did it crop up in the comics before then? Or is it just crazy coincidence that the serial uses the name Grant and a comics writer picked the name Grant as Steve's middle name?
Either way, MCU Steve is all, "But my middle name IS Grant." Honey, your universe was also created 70 years after the original Cap.
