Happy April 1st!  I’d like to celebrate this often-foolish day by sharing highlights from the world’s worst Captain America coloring book.

It doesn’t look that bad from the cover, right?  About five years ago my friend brought this over to my apartment.  We met through Avengers comics fandom on LJ, so it wasn’t that strange for her to whip out random Captain America merchandise.  I thought it was just a typical coloring book at first.  

But then I flipped it open to this page:

That’s right, Doom is handing out mugshots of Cap.  But wait, he’s not really holding it, is he?  Maybe it’s just stuck to his glove and he can’t get it off..? How embarrassing for Doom. 

Meanwhile, Cap is stuck in a horrific fever-dream.  That’s the only thing that could explain the perspective here.  It might explain the melting stars, too.

I like to call this one “Captain America’s invisible pole-dance” because seriously, what is he doing?  It makes more sense if you draw in a pole and a feathered boa.  The gritted teeth could be a sexy growl, right?

But wait, there’s more!

Bears! His greatest nemesis! 

There’s nothing more American than Steve Rogers crying in a national park.

These were just a few pages.  This is a thick coloring book, guys. I didn’t even touch on the Many More Super Heroes that the cover promises.

For the Starsky & Hutch fandom’s convenience, I have created Zebra Docs. It contains the following folders:

Zebra Three: all four seasons of S&H. My hope is that fans who are unable to buy the DVDs, or fans who need digital files for vidding can use this. Note that you can download entire folders at once.

Antonio: contains the episode of the French drama Cherif in which Antonio Fargas guest-starred as a hallucination of Huggy Bear.

Bernie: One Potato, Two Potato (1964) costarring Bernie Hamilton.

David: All 8 episodes of Unsub, sort of an 80′s Criminal Minds. 

Paul: nothing yet, but I hope to upload something soon.

Queer-themed 70′s TV:  Episodes of 1970′s TV with queer characters.  So far it contains an episode of M*A*S*H, Police Woman, Starsky & Hutch, and two episodes of The Streets of San Francisco. 

Feel free to share this around.  I’d love nothing more than to see a boom in S&H vidding, and I hope that having easy access to files might help that.

Sometimes the strings of fate don’t align properly, and those who aren’t tied by a string end up passing by one another as fate sorts itself out. Or five scenes of strangers meeting, if briefly, through the years.

Happy New Year Exchange! This is for @dibsonthebooty, for the exchange hosted at @bentomodachi! I ran with the suggestion of characters interacting who don’t normally and ended up playing with the idea of characters meeting long before the start of the manga.

I hope you enjoy it!

This started out as me wanting to put them in street clothing and it kind of devolved into a Rival Gang AU with Kouhei being part of this gambling syndicate and Taichi as a member of a gang that, uh, just sets things on fire idk LOL I hope you like it!! (I apologize for the bad photo quality, couldn’t find good lighting D; )
