Grant Tilly “My God’s Better Than Your God”
(It’s Canadian for God’s sake!)
I don't go to a lot of concerts. I like the cafe style gigs. More acoustic, more intimate. I was able to go to more staged performances when we got media passes, especially the Vancouver Island Music Fest in Courtenay.
The best is when you know the dudes and dudettes who are on stage. That is why I follow singer/songwriter Natasha Alexandra (NLX), composer Konrad Pluto and singer/songwriter Grant Tilly.
I know Grant Tilly from my TO days. I rented a room to him. I like his "May Our Children Grow" from his first album Before My Eyes.
But he is most known for his song "My God is Better than Your God". You can hear a 2 different versions on CBC Music under his Before My Eyes album.
