When I was 3, I was playing on my dad’s computer chair, and I was spinning around in it so fast that I flipped the chair back and when I fell, the wheel part caught my big toe, and split the top of my toe and ripped my toenail out. I wasn’t freaking out about that, but when I had to get stitches, that freaked me the hell out.
Do you have any obsessions right now? Well, I’ve been playing Kingdom Hearts 3 for a couple of days, so that’s been on my brain as of now. Other than that, From Dusk Till Dawn, and I guess that’s it.
Do you try to hold grudges against people who’ve done you wrong? Umm... I do, but I’ll try to move past it. Unless they try to do the same shit again, then I’ll just start pulling out receipts ‘cause even though my memory’s shitty, I’m actually good at remembering stuff people did to me; even the people who’ve done me wrong 😊 But yeah, for the most part, I’m just like whatever about it, like that’s not important; move on.

I wish I could like this multiple times. And @stark if only they got slavs but most of the time I've checked an actor it's either Americans/British or Scandinavians for every role. Like fine you want a big name star for the main role but if they are small throw-away characters why can't they find an actual Russian speaker? (just in case...i'm agreeing with you) And Hollywood Russians do laugh, not everyone is depressed. different climates exist it's not winter 24/7. Also other Slavs do exist…for the west it’s like every Central/Eastern European country is just Russia. And (sorry for multiple replies) there are many ethnicities/religions/races in Russia.

i agree, most of the time, it’s an american or british actors playing all the roles, and then scandinavians, like a surprising amount of swedes. and then actors of slavic origin. and then actual russians. it seems like we’re at peace with a slavic person playing a russian, but then would that mean that all slavic people are interchangeable? do you know what i mean? and that seems like a problem of slavic representation, and oh boy, i don’t know enough about czechoslovakia and yugoslavia to discuss that (and i think a lot of disrespect comes from the breakup of those two countries). and americans generally like to view europe as monolith, and central and eastern europe as areas not worth visiting, so why bother learning the difference between them?
and a lot of it is russia’s fault. a lot of slavic countries were under the influence of the ussr, and after its dissolution of the soviet union, russia basically became its sole successor. so it’s a combination of people’s ignorance and the lasting effect of the soviet union’s dominion over a huge chunk of a part of europe.
russians do laugh, and aren’t always gloom and depressed, there is summer (really fucking hot summer), it’s almost as if russian people are people. wow. and regarding ethnicities, it’s gonna be a while before people realise there’re ethnic minorities in russia... if only someone'll do a bit a research one day....
