Exploring one of the gnarliest trails up #beachenwood way. I saw the suggestions of the exit of this on a wander recently. Some rock garden and drop off stuff and then a real steep boggy final exit. Artefacts from last nights ride. Discussions were acute and specific on paths and locations through the woods, how some places looked like other places, where a bench was in relation to various locations, what paths led where, and where we were on the path. The hollow tree was a destination (first shot). A wrong trail was taken (my error). On the last section (Jim's) my drive chain was so TWIGGED that i lost them, i lost the trail, i was for a few moments a lost creature depending on a battery to see in a deep dark pinewood wandering in search of something. The others. A way out. Trees were down. No wet feet.
