I cannot thank Ms. Marable (#graphicdesignteacher) enough for the opportunity of sharing what I do with all of her #amazing #graphicdesign students at #pleasureridgepark (#prp) #highschool today! What an amazing #artprogram, with #outstanding, #caring, and #visionary, #teachers like Mrs. Denise Webb, (#artteacher), and Mr. Tom Willis (#graphicdesignteacher) who truly care about the #students they're instructing. Thank you all for what you do! Mrs. Marable tells us we spoke with over 250 students from 1st to last periods today! #awesome! Coworker: So now students have the cleaning ladies deliver their assignments? Me: Since when? Coworker: Since today, when my all star flunky decided not to show up for class, had someone who takes out the trash deliver his garbage, which will receive zero because it was late. Me: Thats a new way of handing in assignments, while pretending to be sick, sometimes their friends hand it in for them

I guess I was a bit Narcissistic when I was a Graphic Design Lecturer judging by some of my tweets from teaching

Dear XXXXX I've noticed in my Friday morning classes a lot of students start working on their assignments due at 5 pm during class. Or they will completely miss my class all together but will show up for the next class with XXXXX and when I ask why. They all have the same excuse that they had an assignment due or had to do class work they should of done in their own time. I wanted to see if it's possible to change the due dates from Fridays to the start of the class? as this is really is causing a disturbance. I can understand with some subject students need the extra time but doing the assignment on the day it is due is pathetic and during another class no less. I think it's time students learnt about time management
