Nice mix of work... if you pay attention to the watermarks or credits on each clip... interesting to see the variety of graphics houses represented - many of which I have never heard of.

This piece takes a look inside the NY Times Graphics department.
Top Graphic Houses
Being mildly obsessed with motion graphics has made it a hobby to follow the works of some of the best studios in the field. Below is a roster of amazing graphics houses that always are on point and changing the game.
Imaginary Forces - Started by Kyle Cooper (SE7EN Title Sequence and so many others), this house grew insanely quick and handles an amazing array of clients.
Prologue - This shop was also started by Kyle Cooper as a break away from Imaginary Forces and was intended to be a small boutique shop that ended up growing very fast as well. Danny Yount (Rock n Rolla titles, Ironman titles, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang titles, Six Feet Under opening titles) is also a key figure at this company and their work is unstoppable.
Blur Studios - Based out of Venice, CA, Blur has been in the game for almost twenty years. The most recent The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Check that link - it's a making of that is insane) has gotten them all sorts of press. They do a lot of work in the video game sector so it's a good place for inspiration.
Royale - Started by one of the people that originally sparked my interest in this field, Jayson Whitmore, this company's bread and butter is broadcast work. They have some of the cleanest, most colorful and brightest work out there.
Psyop- These guys do some really unique work. They find a way to make IBM, TRowe Price and other very corporate companies edgy. They have done a good amount in the gaming sector, probably most memorable is the Fable III Spot.
The Mill - They are huge and have been business for over twenty years. The Mill is a good example of a company that finds hot talent and puts together amazing work. They run the gamut in the visual world. From gaming, to broadcast, live action, 3D to amazing cinematography. Most people have probably heard of them but check out their 2012 Reel if not.
These are some of the big players and there are a bunch of smaller shops that are worth mention in later posts. Terence had the chance to visit both Blur and The Mill, so if you have specific questions on those hit him up.
