Sims 3 remastered indeed!!! Over the weekend I decided to take a leap of faith and edited my GraphicsRules file to increase shadow quality to 4k and HOLY SMOKES it brought the game to life in a whole new way!!! After that I decided to go for broke and increased textures to 4k and sims to 2k, and I also added back in the 4k terrain mod instead of the 2k version I've been using.

The results speak for themselves!!! I had no idea The Sims 3 could be this breathtaking and immersive!! I played it for two hours on my little Samsung Galaxy laptop without a single crash! My computer was warm to the touch, but by no means overheating. I did notice about a 5-10% reduction in game performance, but I believe that will be fixed once I combine all my mods into just a few files.

Once I finish and publish my Sims 3 Unofficial Remaster Washburn Edition Mods List Version 5, I will make videos where I explain and walk you through how to make these changes in your own game.

What a journey this has been and continues to be!!

Mod: Min or Max Ghosts

I present to your attention an another set of small modifications from the Russian community of betahunters Sims 2 that change the count of ghosts on lot in Sims 2:

There will be 4 files in the archive. Two - increase the limit of ghosts to 5 or 8, one - eliminates ghosts in general, well, and one more - the "default" option for those who wants to set the number of ghosts on the lot. Change the count of ghosts here:

But not so simple. The fact that we have increased the count of ghosts does not mean that they will all appear in the game. The fact is that the game at its first start-up may consider your computer “weak”, since in those days when it was developed, only megahertz were taken into account, and the number of instructions executed by the processor per clock was unknown to the game. So it will not be bad if you make a couple of such corrections to the Graphics Rules of the game:

By the way, you need to do this not only in the folder with the latest installed addon, but also in the folders of ALL addons, and, of course, in the folder with the base game.

Anyone have any tip for when there’s one house that is always pink flashing?

It’s Halle Anne and Weston’s house and it was fine a couple of days ago, but the past couple of days since I last played them they have always been pink flashing. I haven’t done anything in game or out since I played them and it was fine. Now they either load up and everything is pink, or it starts loading up and crashes. Th last back up I have is from after the last play session so literally a couple days ago, but my last back up from before then is from...a long time ago :/

Is there anything I can do to fix them? I really don’t want to lose their house, but if I have to, I guess I have to, it’s better than losing the sims

anyway so i went thru a bit of a lull in wanting to share stuff from my game (YA DON’T SAY) and ofc when i had The Urge again,

my monitor broke.

ok ok... got a new one. it’s still good it’s still good.

NOW the game looks raggedy as fuck

so alright then maybe the new monitor just isn’t playing nice with the pc that hasn’t had a hardware upgrade since 2012 (lol) i’ll try updating graphics drivers it’s still good it’s still good
