Eye Contact:It Hurts to Look at You

Thinking about the contrast between Owen not wanting to look Jasper in the eye...

....in scenes where Owen is a lot of pain from his tumor ulcer and is temporarily healed by Jasper's blood, or Jasper is gravely injured from being burned...

...and Guy actually lowering himself to look Jasper in the eye.

.. on the edge of a surface it's hard for him to balance on. After a (superficial) blood healing. When Jasper is recalling emotional pain and not trying to meet Guy's eyes here.

It's organic and natural to the scene and not a big deal. But it says a lot about these characters' relationships to Jasper in these particular moments.

So Greg and Jasper never met(unfortunately) but I’m gonna headcanon that they did after Steven left and the next time Steven came to visit them maybe a year or two later he was like “WHAT THE FUCK?”

It's one of my top favorites and I've been a huge shipper for years but there's not much content of it because of its decline in popularity. I know a lot of people probably don't like it but I love it. I actually have a blog about it but it's not very active at the moment.
