Howdy! I was a reader from the early days of the OG redux. I loved the story then, but I adore it more now. Thank you for continuing to pour your talent, time, and care into this these books, and for giving them the attention they never received from the Erins. Cats that felt like squabbling cardboard cutouts in canon are now dynamic heroes and villains that have actually brought me to tears. Now then, in the CL allegiances, RC Grasspaw is called "jack" instead of "tom." Is that purposeful?

As for Grasspaw - they're nonbinary! We use "jack" for enbies, "tom" for males, and "molly" for females. I think we stole "jack" from someone else, but I don't remember who.

And here we see the local Riverclan medicine cat apprentice being tormented by the local elder who is HAPPILY regaling her sordid tales of her MANY MANY lesbian affairs with no prompting outside of "that reminds me of a time when i-" probably still sneaking out of camp and Getting It even though she's Old, girl knows what she wants, and its that little bounce of that pretty shadowclan she cat when she walks by the border
