making virtual pet characters is soothing because there's not really a genre or convention or subculture since most people who make virtual pet characters make them, of their own actual virtual pets who are not textually virtual pets. like neopians live in neopia i don't think they are meant as digital beings.

my opinion is lan xichen/song lan is a really dumb ship and song lan would not care for lxc in general let alone romantically

yes agreed I think SL/lxc is kind of silly and a reach. putting aside that it's pretty clear xxc was like SL's true love and the only person he ever wanted to be with...SL is a fiercely independent rogue cultivator who avoids getting tangled in sect politics and never wanted to run a sect based on bloodline, and he avoided getting in good with any of those big sects for that reason. meanwhile not for nothing but lxc's whole deal is politics and managing conflict in a way that keeps everyone happy and playing nice with the big guns, and his blind spots would frustrate SL. they wouldn't be friends, I doubt SL would like lxc and it would never turn romantic. so yeah damn straight

I also agree that carpet is better than tile in any room except the bathroom and kitchen. my dorm living room is tile rn and it is Bleak. on the plus side, easier to clean
