      “i’m sorry, did you say something?” it wasn’t that he was trying to be rude, but after finishing a fifteen hour shift at his family’s restaurant he couldn’t really pay attention to anything. the male was tired and he wasn’t thinking when the woman started talking to him. he didn’t even register that she was speaking to him; he simply just turned off his brain. “i’m sorry, i wasn’t listening. i think i just have sleep on the mind right now. or a beer from the bar --- if you were interested. i have the key, after all.”

Yasir had his hands shoved into his pants pockets as he walked alongside the other. They had decide to go for an evening walk, and it was just another chilly autumn evening. They had for the most part been walking in comfortable silence and Yasir was just enjoying the company. He had a long day at work and simply being outside really helped relax him. “Thanks for tagging along,” Yasir sound, looking over at the other. “I know you’d probably rather be doing something else more exciting, but this is good.” ( @graveity )

     Ashleigh was by any means an angel. Whenever her soccer team won, she threw it everyone's face. It didn't matter that this happened last season, not one bit. They were back, and better than before. She was sure of it. Over the off season she found three extremely talented girls and had her every faithful in them to take the team all the way. There was nothing more that Ash loved than being a soccer couch. Well, just one thing: She loved to gloat. Entering the soccer field for the first game of the season, she saw a familiar face and immediately became giddy with joy. As her kids began to practice, she couldn't resist approaching the other couch. "Why do you hate seeing my face so much? Is it because my kids won the tournament last season and your kids came in... what what? Second or third? I can never remember because all I see if first place, so." She shrugged off as she folded her arms and looked out to the field. "Got some new faces out there, huh? What'd you do? Lose some players because their parents didn't want them to lose again?" Ash added, continued her relentless teasing. @graveity

[text] i don’t tan. i don’t do the whole ‘sitting in the sun’, especially not with alcohol. the last time i was in hawaii, i burnt and i was drinking way too much tequila...[text] however, if you want to tan and get “shitfaced”, i’ll supervise and then when you’re all done i’ll be inside ready for you.

Six months in Los Angeles, six bloody months. Danielle was only two weeks into her assignment and yet, she had already accepted her status as a lifetime Londoner. However, the food scene was great. She was still very particular about it all. Danielle could never cook on her own, but was still very picky. Handpicking a waitress, and a pretty one too, was just the tip of it. When the girl introduced herself, Danielle rolled her eyes. She had this great sense of deduction that meant she immediately judged and saw that she was one of those actress types. Nope. “Now, I know we’re in the city of angels, of stars and whatnot. But you probably don’t, and you don’t need to.” Danielle’s eyes glanced at the glass, realising her mistake choice. “You’re not used to being competent, are you?”

          It didn’t take more than two seconds at the table to realize someone had been messing with her. It had to be a practical joke, right? There was no way someone this rude had actually asked for her. Not unless the practical joke was less joke and more cruel. “Sor-- I--” she swallowed hard, somehow assuming this woman would be one to tell her not to apologize. ‘It showed weakness.’ But apologies were her main form of communication at work. “Would you like me to get you anything to drink as you look over our menu?” she asked, hands going for the order-pad stuffed in her apron. “We have a wide array of red and white wines, as well as carrying Pepsi products.” She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, already scribbling on the pad with her pencil. “Might I also suggest the spinach and artichoke dip as a starter? It comes with fresh bread and it’s quite good.”
