What if Jim has accidentally left the gravesand at home in the Bad Coffee episode. I feel like Barabara would be far less likely to find her coffee tasting odd suspicious. It would be really interesting to see what that brought out in her

Hi i thought of Au when Claire is Expose to the grave sand i feel Like it Should happen in Season 1 before Jim Stole Angor ring so Strickler would Poisson her to give Jim so Trouble.

i thought of S1 because Strickler is the only one we know who have Accuses to it i thought of it ever since i saw Bad Coffee for the first time

Hi! That's such a fun idea - even more so because Claire of that period of time is heavily stressed (she desperately wants to save her brother but cannot do a thing) which can lead to some interesting developments.

I'd say Claire probably gets a bigger dose of the gravesand than Jim in Season 3 (closer to the one Uhl, Lawrence and Janeth got in Bad Coffee). After all, Strickler goes for some efficient distraction.

So, we get an absolutely feral Claire, armed by shadowstaff. She still can tell that Jim and Toby are on her side (kinda), but freeing Enrique is her main priority and she doesn't care about waiting for longer. Claire won't try to force Jim to hurry up though (because she still cares about him even under the gravesand influence). However, she has no problem attempting to get the amulet from Jim and using it as a key to open the passage into the Darklands (she plans to venture there alone).

Jim has a huge trouble fighting Claire, both because she doesn't hold back at all and because he doesn't want to harm her. It doesn't make it easier that with the shadow portals Claire has no problem applying a hit-and-run tactics. She gets the amulet, so the second round involves not letting her come anywhere close to the Killahead Bridge, getting the amulet back and capturing Claire while trying to get her back to her senses.

Jim manages to get through to her, promising to return Enrique to Claire, but she tells him she wants to come along as well, confessing that she is more annoyed with herself for not managing to protect her brother and never blamed Jim.

What effects would Gravesand have on Jim while in one of his Alien forms?

It depends on the alien. Some like Terraspin are immune as Gravesand does have magical properties. To give them the stuff is just throwing normal ash at someone's face so expect a sneeze.

Animalistic forms like Wildmutt go full on berserker. Think of Sonic the Werehog's Unleashed ability but it's important to have an objective unless you want to attack EVERYTHING.

Ghostfreak and Whampire are the only ones who can safely benefit from Gravesand. It boosts their powers but also form a temporary spiritual connection to the afterlife. Jim can essentially gain important info that been taken to the grave.

Overall, the results are mixed at best.
