For the second prompt of Stanuary - “Protect.” Summary: Stan's protective instinct sometimes extends beyond his blood relatives. No warnings.  it’s just fluff with undertones of Stangst. When I sat down to work on *cough cough* another writing project, I didn’t expect to write something like this but there it is.

OK so, there’s a story behind this -  After my Ford cosplay /costume tests, when removing the wig, it just looked er...  weird... with my long hair.  The idea of Ford somehow getting into an alien substance which grew out his hair (and Mabel adorably freaking out and wanting to style it) was amusing so this happened.

This is sort of a silly apology for my last angst-filled fanart.  There’s horribly embarrassing photographic evidence of the half-costumed travesty...  Not sure I want to post that ;)
