Winnifred Shade: Gray Pansexual Pride

Turns out there’s a simpler term for the Demi spectrum that Winnie lands on, so I’ll consider this an update.  Gray Pansexual pretty much means what I was going for Winnie’s character.  She has little to no desire to have a sexual encounter, however, on the rare occurrence she finds a partner that truly clicks with her, gender does not matter at all.

As for a small backstory: Winnie lives with chronic depression, takes medication to balance herself out and is a Medical Examiner for her local Crimes Unit. Granted, what you see above is her University Self, I’ll do her “Grown Up” version one of these days. She’s also a Scion for a Patheon, and you’d be surprised who her father is.

Was just reading my My Sexual Orientation page and got a little excited about how far I’ve come in understanding myself. 

I’m also really thrilled by how far I’ve come in other elements of my sexual identity. I’m out now. To lots and lots of people. Gonna have to write about it some more, but ultimately, I feel so free <3

This is so cool. Literally 1 year, maybe even 6 months ago, there was nothing in the gray pansexual tag. Now, I can scroll. Many scrolls. Much. There are so many people learning that there are terms out there to help them understand and identify themselves. Inclusion. The community is growing. I am so happy.
