Eel fish and Striped fish,
Wanted a bad late night doodle.
Here’s my better drawing of Oliver! I really gotta get better at poses soon, I didn’t mean for this to look so, like, picturesque? I was trying to use different drawing tools, so don’t mind the stuff around him. No matter what I put him in, he will annoy every other character.
Here’s the Striped Fish! I’m posting these right now, but I’ll be posting another one of this soon in color, and it will be my first attempt at shading.
I’ll wait till this next post to type about the Striped Fish.
This is my next character, Laim the Green Sea Urchin. He’s a stickler for rules and is never not fighting Snapper. He gets along with Mauve, but will occasionally pester the other if he doesn’t enforce every little rule.
I wanted to try a little drawing version of my next character since full body ones still scare me.
And here is Vertical the Striped Fish! He’s on good terms with pretty much everyone, and even helps babysit the Salmon Fish’s kids. He likes bitter food and bitters. He’s been through a lot.
I know I can’t even call the crap in his hair shading, but I had to try something by now. I did really like trying to color this though. I’ll most likely do more portrait styles like this one to show my other character’s names. Next up will either be a body drawing of Vertical’s clothes, or a portrait of a different character.
This is Mauve, and this is why I don’t draw hands. He’s almost always mad at somebody. He is the sole reason Snapper and Urchin haven’t killed each other while on the job.
Still no good at coloring, but I wanted to put some on the original sketch of my Cuttlefish.
