I recently saw the term “gray rose” used to mean “gray aromantic and gray asexual” (”rose’ being a mix of “grayro” and “gray ace”) and not only is it super cute, but I’ve been hoping for a term that means gray aro and gray ace other than gray aroace. I used @aroaesflags‘s gray aroace and @michaelaftonz’s gray aromantic, gray asexual, and gray aroace flags.

I just saw someone reblog something from me and write something in the tags about thinking of gray a-spec and demi as 2 distinct identities. I know that a-spec terms have changed a lot over time, so here’s a refresher on the labels gray aro, gray ace, and gray aroace!

gray aromantic/gray aro - any romantic orientation that falls between aromantic and alloromantic, including aroflux and demiromantic. Some people use the term gray aromantic as it’s own label, but it is also an umbrella term.

gray asexual/gray ace -  any romantic orientation that falls between asexual and allosexual, including abrosexual and lithsexual. Some people us the term gray asexual as it’s own label, but it is also an umbrella term.

gray aroace: someone who is both gray aromantic and gray asexual. This could be with the same kind of identity like demiromanitc demisexual, or 2 different gray identities like gray aro acespike. I’ve seen the term “gray rose” used as a synonym for gray aroace which I think is cute.

Gray rose

Gray rose a three years younger than his older sister sapphire. He lost his legs thanks to hate finding their world and corrupted him and his sister he lost his legs and got robotic legs to get his legs back with the scientists help and the robotic legs fixes his legs fast and he gets to take them off at the age of 13!

Age- 7

Soul- the same as his father’s soul

Eyes- change to random colors when he freaks out Height- average 7 year old Clothes- has robotic legs that shoot fire to make him fly. His outfit is a red t-shirt with gray pants
