despite any trepidation she might have had for visiting the lower floors of the building— the present was all she had. and it would be necessary to see to all the inner workings of the building that the caretaker's office provided them with. the room was dingy, poorly lit, and showed the remains of some of the building's systems and maintenance. and the rest was, well technology.

she knocked once, announcing her presence as she stood at the threshold. "are you graham?"
