In an effort to reduce my carbon footprint throughout this project I turned to my small stockpile of discarded electronics. Let me tell ya, I learned two valuable things today. 1) Old boomboxes are the greatest electronics score of all time and 2) Rainbow colored wires are your best friend.
I took off the original wiring of the lasers and went for a rainbow to easily identify which wire belongs to which laser. It's important to note that the LED driver outputs connect to the cathode leg of the laser which is traditionally the grounded leg, so while I'm using black wiring for the +5v, it's not actually ground.
