UNWILLING TO SPEND any more time studying for a final that he knew he would do mediocre at best at, nikolai had resolved to give himself a study break - and if the study break were to last a few more hours than what was reasonable for him to allot, so be it. he’d been itching to add to his record collection, and so he had ubered down to academy records to sift through their selection and see if anything stuck out to him. a few minutes into perusing, he was surprised - and slightly disappointed - to see that grayson was there as well. though instinct told him to walk the other way, nikolai decided to settle on shooting grayson a bland smile and nodding towards him. “surprised you’re not studying,” he mumbled, eyes not leaving the case of vinyls in front of him.
