Do they believe some truths are better left buried?
Riika is a liar. A manipulator. She is calculating, cold hearted, and without empathy. Bane taught her to 'hit first, and hit hardest', and if she couldn't, manipulate someone else to do it. She resists change at every turn, but fate, perhaps, has a different plan. In terms of Crosshair, certain information comes to light without Riika being the one to reveal. Sometimes, being confronted with what you've done, what you are and have been--sometimes that is necessary. I will say it takes a very long time, and a lot of mistakes. She has always believed that it didn't matter who she hurts, as long as she got what she wanted. Interacting with a certain group of clones she begins to see and even experience kindness when she expects abuse, accountability and honor instead of selfishness.
What do they believe is life's purpose?
For a long time, Riika didn't care about purpose, other than fulfilling her purpose as the weapon she had been molded into by her mentor. By the time she reached adulthood, Riika looked down on most people, believing herself to be of a superior intelligence, not hindered by sympathy, compassion, or kindness. She doesn't concern herself too much with a larger purpose than being the one completely in control.
