God is good & The journey continues.. . Despite set backs & all that I’m still pressing through I’m so grateful to have gotten a great training session in/first meet since 2017. First time I got to line up next to anyone, heard the gun, went over hurdles at race height/distance, or even got out a race blocks. With my schedule, class, training and fighting fires, it’s effects on my body, no coach, and whatever else the devil tries to take or distract me with...God still kept me! No it’s not the result I wanted(Time wise) but the glory remains to the Lord and I’m excited to press on. #stillrising #theResurgence #GreaterToCome . Special shout out to all who truly have been at my side and those that support near and far. . And for those that take anything or encouragement from my journey, know that: “no word from God will ever fail.” “For nothing will be impossible with God.” -Luke 1:37 . I find so much power in that. The same verse translated to both and it’s the same time I ran. I feel so blessed and honored by that. I’m just happy to be here It’s important to realize that there is a profound difference between passive waiting and active waiting. Passive waiting can take the form of cynicism, complaining, or simply doing nothing. Active waiting, however, is a posture that seeks to cultivate habits that are focused on intentional preparation. Right where I am I’m learning and gaining so much, but to receive it takes perspective.
