Gravity - spitfire and birdflash
So yeah. I think both Arty and dick loved Wally. When he died they needed each other to get though days they would check on each other every few hours. This is based on the song gravity by against the current and how it makes me feel.

It was raining outside his window. Dick got up out of his bed. He sent a message to Artemis to check in on her. Then he was going to visit his best friends grave. How much worse could this day get? He got in his car and drove down to Wayne industries. He parked in the garage and went to the teliporter. It said his hero name and number. He was in the main room. It was dark, no one to be seen. He turned down the hall. The lights coming on as he went. Soon he came to the hall. He saw Artemis standing in front of the grave.
"guess you had the same idea." He spoke calmly. His eyes on the face of his dead best friend. He never got the chance to tell him how much he loved him, now he never would. At least he had confessed he had to Artemis. Now they both knew someone else knew the pain.
"yeah. It's been a year. I just, I wish he was here." Artemis said her arms wrapping around herself. Dick looked at her. They were both so broken from his death.
"he was our gravity. With him gone it feels like our world had shattered." Dick said moving to hug her.
"will this nightmare ever end?" She whispered her arms wrapping around him. They stood there for a bit Dick looking at the statue.
If he could go back to telling her after his death. He would do it all again. It has gotten them though so much more than either one of them have alone. They make sure the other eats and they protect each other when they are on missions, much like they used to with Wally.
"Dick, have you eaten?" She asked. She was the only one allowed to call him by his name since Wally left. The team still unknowing to it.
"no I haven't, think we should go get food?" He said looking down at her. She nodded against his chest taking a few steps back.
They made their way to the kitchen. The first thing they saw was the trail of a speedster. A second of hope for both of them before they saw Bart.
"You two ok?" He asked knowing what today was and knowing that tonight they would all be down there mourning Wally.
"Bart, are you getting food for tonight?" Artemis asked. Since Wally had left she had been helping Bart get though the classic blaming yourself hero thing.
"Yeah, I am. You two want something?" He asked as they both nodded. Artemis sat on a stool at the bar. Dick stood next to her. The kitchen was filled with a knowing silence.
Bart gave them sandwiches. "I know it's not much but it's something."
"it's fine Bart." Artemis said eating some of her food.
They went through the rest of the day talking a little bit at a time. A few jokes were made by their teammates to help cheer them but with no luck. Soon night fall came. Everyone was down stairs in the hall. M'gann had brought blankets down for Artemis and dick once they fell asleep. Bart brought down pillows so they could lay down.
They all knew how hard today was for them.
