Green counter
Dear Editor, The SGPC deserves applause for setting up a counter in the newly built entrance plaza of the Golden Temple for the free distribution of plants to devotees. This innovative idea will go a long way in creating awareness regarding environment at the grassroots in Punjab. One hopes that lack of funds will never be an obstacle for its successful implementation. Jagdish Chander, Jalandha

Green Counter v2 Ready for Sale
These are the words that every App developer loves to see. Luckily for me I was presented this glorious message this morning. Please go download or update the Green Counter, then once installed please buy the In-App purchase for your 'Authentic' Will Green noises. Will has provided fabulous sound effects to go into this update. I love them, they're worth every penny! Will did request that all profits from your In-App purchases will go to the NSPCC, so please don't shy away from the modest amount asked for.
The Green Counter
Background: I've been listening to the Mac Show for a while now, and one of their regular guests (Will Green) has been know to drop a few F-bombs on the show. This causes the show host Ewen grief to remember when to edit the podcast.
After recording the App Chat interview, I was talking with Karl and I mentioned how worried I was about accidentally swearing. This banter flowed onto the Mac Show and Will and I joked about Ewen needing an App for that... {I'm sure you can see this coming now}
A few weeks later after listening to another bleeped Mac show, I quickly put together the Green Counter. It only took me a couple of hours to put together in Xcode - which was very pleasing as it shows my iOS prowess (haha) has improved and Xcode is much more dev friendly.
Ewen loved the idea and insisted I submit it to the App Store. I was just think about getting it to him via Test Flight. After a small tweak, a better photo of Will (thanks Ewen), Apple accepted it.
It's a very silly app, not very complicated and it's just a bit of fun/leg pulling at Will's expense... It was debuted on the Mac Show on the 18th May and made my weekend. Got a lot of chuckles...
