This green chili stew is based off a classic New Mexican recipe. The Hatch chili peppers aren't too spicy, but also aren't quite as mild as Anaheim. This meal is filling and comforting and makes a perfect late summer meal.

As far as I am aware, this is not something you can find in stores. Green chili jam, made from poblano peppers, onion, garlic and spices, is a savory jam that I like to use to glaze pork and chicken and sometimes even enjoy on a piece toast.
