Greenstead is a Human Sanctuary installed by the Ramayls, one of the Alien races that stepped in at the middle of the Human Collapse event.

Greenstead is an adoption and rehabilitation center wherein feral or otherwise neglected humans have been brought to have a better life and eventually be adopted by an alien family.

Greenstead is a story with a revolving cast, it sits within Horror and Slice of Life, centering on the lives of the Humans (and Aliens) that reside here.

I wanted to explore how non-human animals are treated with a cast of human characters, I am deeply engaged with the natural world and welfare of the earth and her many many children.

I had a deep curiosity to see what might happen if more technologically advanced species visited earth, decided to stay and saw us as something to domesticate and tame.

I am not at all anti-domestication, etc, etc. I just get curious about things and need to explore it.

I also think as a Black and Indigenous woman these exercises in someways help me navigate complicated feelings and how I have in my life felt like a zoo animal or little more than a slightly loved pet, and how I have struggled to feel seen and taken seriously as a fully formed adult, and heck even as a human.
