Nostalgia con haul! One of my smallest but most importantly con hauls yet! Ramble under the cut
First off I only went for two people, Matthew and Nazeeh. I was originally going to opt for the ygo submission but when I saw both were attending I knew I had to go.
I know Matthew recent started going to conventions, and that makes me so happy. He was amazing as Jaden, I'm glad he's finally feeling the love from the community. I had to go in person and tell him that. He was so kind, he even gave me a hug! I met Dan and Greg short after meeting him. They were both extremely sweet as well. Dan especially, he had the smallest area to work with. Dan has such dad energy irl it's amazing. I'm so happy I met all three of them, my childhood hero's.
Then there was Nazeeh. If you've been on my blog, you know misumi is my biggest comfort character. I've interacted with Nazeeh on Twitter before. But this was my first time meeting him irl. He was beyond sweet, even making sure he had extra misumi prints because I'd said something on Twitter. I told him how much it ment that he played misumi, how much it ment that he shows misumi so much love. I swear I almost made him cry. He's such a sweet man I want to meet him again in the future. He made today memorable for me and I'll never be able to thank him enough.
It was nice getting to see everyone and walking around. I didn't have a lot of money after the autographs but I did get some small things. Sloth got a lot of dune stuff which is great! I'm glad we were able to find dune merch since sloth doesn't have a lot.
Oh and on the way out, Eric Stuart was in front of us on the elevator. His bag had so much kaiba merch on it, both fan made and official. It was honestly so adorable. I think I'll go back to nostalgia con again!
My Brother in law and younger sister went to NY ComicCon on Saturday October 8th, and got Greg Abby’s autograph for me!!😍😍🥰🥰. The autograph has now been delivered here safely, but I like to post my best brother in law’s photo of it in the Con’s lighting.
