I'm weirdly attached to the way mascots were drawn and rendered in the 90s and 2000s (in this case, Greg Wray's style), so I did this little study where I drew JP Sonic rendered in the American Sonic style. And I also recreated the background because I didn't want him to be in a void

I was tasked once more to mimic the artstyle of the LATE video game artist Greg Martin (1956-2013), though this time for the SNES compilation of Super Mario's first greatest hits, Super Mario ALL-STARS (+ Super Mario World)! I hope I have paid tribute to Mr. Martin’s legacy with this fanart mock-up here! Enjoy!

This is the back cover of the 1994 LCD game "Amazing Sonic" which was scanned by me!
The Sonic art was done by the great Greg Martin.
The main text in the back says: Sonic and Robotnik are at it again! The diaboloical Dr. Robotnik has created a robot factory and it's up to Sonic to stop the mass production of metal mutants! Sonic works his way through the maze-like rooms in an effort to find and remove the Emeralds - the factory's only power source. Team up with Sonic through 12 levels of fast and furious action as he tries to put Robotnik out of business - for good!
It also shows 4 gameplay screenshots and a general summary of the whole game, and it advertises the fact that the batteries are included!

I decided to draw in the styles of various sonic artists such as Yuji Uekawa, generalized JP Sonic, Doodle Hog, and Greg Martin. I'm aware JP Sonic's legs are too long. Also my Sonic's there, who invited him.
