Hey! Ive been searching forever to find that video of greg ellis larping as cullen talking about cancel culture, any chance you have a link that still works? 😭
I made a post when it dropped. When it happened, someone actually sent me a mirror link for it. It's a Google Drive file, but it's there.
Here's the full post I made surrounding it: Link
I personally haven't watched it because he doesn't deserve my energy. But I've read bits of the transcript and accounts of people who have watched/read through it all.
Hashtag TheCode, hashtag Dragon Age Day, hashtag Justice for Johnny Depp.

Fan Reply: “This speaks volumes as I said before not all hero’s wear capes, keep doing what you are doing, Forever our Templar. Let them hate it is all they have left to give. Hope is for those who wish to have it. Stay safe in these troubled times.”
I consider myself resilient to comb his twitter for the shit he posts.
But I gagged when I saw this. And that’s saying something. I used to be a huge Cullen/Greg stan (not so much anymore), but this is just... ew.
He says he has nothing but love for his fans and Dragon Age fans, when barely a month ago (post upcoming) in September, he went on a hissy fit when Dragon Age fans called him out on some bullshit.
I know gaslighting gets thrown around a lot, sometimes too much, but honestly what he does just reeks of gaslighting. He manipulates the Dragon Age fandom, he manipulates his fans, harasses developers, demonizes those that try to call him out politely and respectfully (and to those who are more blunt), and then turns around and says this about his fans? It leaves a horrible taste in my mouth.
If Greg truly cared about his fans, he would LISTEN to them. He would recognize his own patterns of bad behavior and change them and work continuously to do better. He wouldn’t use his fans as pawns to spread wrong information about projects he works on (which he’s done in the past).
Mark Darrah: “Hey there Greg... I’ve been letting you slide for awhile but I think Dragon age Day is maybe the day when that ends.
Is there some world where you imagine that your behavior with regards to me and the community in general would actual cause you to EVER be hired on a Dragon Age game?
I’m not sure if this is performative in some way in order to get the attention of a different group, but it CERTAINLY isn’t going to endear you to a company that cares about its public appearance”
Greg Ellis: “Hi Mark, It’s telling that you finally respond on the day your forced resignation was announced. By ‘letting me slide’ you mean ‘posting vague corporate values tweets on sub-threads supporting bigots who defamed a voice actor of a BioWare game.’
Is there some world where you imagine that your behavior with regards to me, the community and your fellow BioWare employees in general would cause you to EVER be hired by another video game company? Open invitation to come on my show to discuss.”

Mark Darrah: “You really don’t understand what is happening right now do you? Thank you for the invite but I think you have gotten enough of a signal boost from me today Greg.”

Greg Ellis: “I’m standing up for MY values. Having watched you publicly pander to a few small minded bigots for the last couple of months. you were forced to resign today. Maybe one day you’ll have the gumption to talk about WHY, in public (or private) rather than skulking off.”
Greg Ellis: “And a relief for many others.I’ve worked with you for over 10 years as the voice of Cullen (and Anders) (at) Dragon Age & have never worked with a more DISLOYAL, duplicitous corporate fake. Your enforced resignation is a victory (at) BioWare, its employees, & particularly the fans.”
User Reply: “I unlocked this account for a few minutes because I want you to see this and you blocked my alt.
GET FUCKED, GREG. You self serving hateful motherfucker.
Seeing Mark dunk on you has been the light I needed today. You will manipulate this fandom no longer.”
User Reply 2: “Hey (at)BioMarkDarrah Serious question. Can GE get in trouble for using Cullen’s voice and claim of using Cullen as a character to pass off his ideals to others on YouTube? That’s his so called DA announcement he has planned coming up.”
Mark Darrah: “Yes. Yes he can.”
User Reply 2: “Well, he did. Calling to arms sort of deal and he smeared you. He used the music from Inquisition and tried saying something about starting a dragon age inquisition. I tagged BioWare in the link to YouTube.”

User Reply 1: “Y’know, I was sad that you retired, but I just realized it means you can do stuff like this and that’s all the silver lining I need.
GET DUNKED ON GR*G”
User Reply 2: “It is time for me to share a story. I was at a con with this guy. This was the con where he told a group of people, that paid to see him, to stop taking their medication. But to show even more crazy, he wrote a poem that said, “You’re eyes are the windshield wipers to your soul.”
Blog Note: I don’t agree with this user stating that “poem” was crazy. This is just a transcript of the image for accessibility reasons.
User Reply 3: “I was at that event. Ellis/Rees was manipulative and disrespectful to organizers and fans. It was nice to find out what he was really like in person before he plastered it all over Twitter.”
User Reply 4: “I was at the con, but not the event, and hearing about what happened just made me go /grimace emoji + anger emoji/
User Reply 5: “Since it looks like neither of you work for BioWare anymore, I think you’re legally allowed to eat him now or something. I’m not a lawyer but I think I’m right.”
Greg Ellis: “Movie studios, publishing houses, production studios, educational establishments ~ stand up to this small minded cancel culture mob of anonymous cry bullies.
Love him or dislike him (at) Jordan B Peterson’s books save lives. When did the mob become the moral gatekeepers?”
/Quote tweet of Mikhaila Peterson/
User Reply: “Yeah, he saves lives by acting as a gateway to fascist thought. Very cool of him.”

Greg Ellis: “I hear you. Dog whistling trolls do not value human life so have zero interest in lives being saved.”
User Reply: “I have interest in lives being saved, that’s why I support people going to therapy and mental health awareness, not joining the cult of a man who tried to buy a church when his professor career wasn’t going anywhere.”
Greg Ellis: “I think you’d benefit from reading his book. It might help you cease your cemented ideology and incessant trolling of people you clearly despise. Might even make you a happier person.
Be well /praying emoji/.”
User Reply: “No thanks, I don’t support people who demean and harass others based on their gender and says shit like women deserve harassment for wearing makeup, I don’t hate myself that much.
And I’m not a troll, just hoping to help any poor fools you’re corrupting by being this ignorant.”

Greg Ellis: “So young. So ignorant. So full of rage. So unhappy. Get some self help for your nihilism rather than telling others how they need help.
Be well /praying emoji/.”
User Reply: “This holier-than-thou act is very cute Greg, but all you’re telling me is that you were so pathetic that you needed a transphobic misogynist to hold your hand and tell you that your damage wasn’t your fault.
No Greg, you’re a bad person and so is he. Do better.”
Greg Ellis: “Achieve something meaningful with your life before behaving as a childish moral arbiter on social media, attempting to raise your angry 83 follower count by constantly creating fractious discourse with vitriolic RAGE because deep inside you hate yourself.
Be well /praying emoji/

User Reply: “I don’t give a shit about my follower count Greg, and I do plenty of meaningful stuff in my life.
This might be an incredibly hard concept for you so I understand, but it isn’t surprising that women don’t like misogynists. This shouldn’t be revelation for you dear.”
Greg Ellis: “I urge repugnant, unpleasant, hell bent, ignorant, unwell misandrists like you to un-follow me.

Urgent help /praying emoji/
User Reply: “Where am I being misandrist dear? Because I said you were sad? I love men. But all I feel for you is pity.”
Greg Ellis: “Why do you follow me?”
User Reply: “I’ve already told you. A lot of people follow you because they think that there might be something in Cullen in you, when you’re really just a dark pit.
I want to help them from stumbling drunkenly down the same dark path you did.
Don’t like it? Block me.”
Greg Ellis: “You don’t know me. You don’t know your Self.
How could you? You’re entire life purpose seems dark, meaningless, misandrist, angry, shallow, and sad. You’re wish is granted. Go rant about it angry child.”
User Reply: “Man, you’re really making Jordan Peterson = all men huh? Really says more about you than me.”
