I'm really pissed off about this at the moment so sorry if that bleeds into my tone. Why is it so normalized to film people? I just saw a video online of someone walking past a bunch of clearly highly unwell homeless people, with the caption being something like "look at this if you think you're at rock bottom". There were a few people in the comments calling it out for being a disgusting thing to do (filming strangers, especially strangers who are in crisis) for clout but the vast majority of the comment section was either shitting on people for disapproving or making jokes about the individuals being filmed.

One in particular stuck with me, "chill, she's not fucking with them or anything". It was in response to a comment calling the user out for their shitty behavior. Excuse me?? Not fucking with them? That's the same sort of childish logic that playground bullies use when they go "haha I'm not touching you". Just because the OP wasn't kicking and insulting them doesn't mean it was an acceptable thing to do?

People seem to forget what it in reality means like to film somebody, or to be filmed. OP was shoving their phone into the faces of those people, it was a conscious choice to go "oh eww this is so fucked up, I want to post this on tiktok" and then pull out their phone to record that clip.

It's not even strictly about filming disabled people or addicts (though they seem to be the victims of this most often and that should be emphasized as part of the discussion), it's just completely bizarre how normalized it is to film anyone in general without asking AND THEN POST IT ONLINE.

It's honestly terrifying how normalized the concept of constant surveillance has become like if you post pictures or videos of other people online without getting their explicit consent I am judging you so fucking hard like that's a real person not a NPC prop for your social media stunt

i thought i would be safe there since theyre "anti harassment", but instead they harass me for having delusions that my ocs are real people. they even called me saneist slurs

as much as i dont like antis either, some proshippers are just as bad. "fiction never affects reality" is such a saneist way of thinking, fiction does affect psychotic folks like me and were tired of being denied. what you need to say is "what people draw/write/whatever of fiction based characters is none of your business as long as its not harming real people/creatures", at least it doest sound ableist

i genuinely dont care what people write about fictional characters in the least, regardless if theyre coping with their own trauma or just having fun, but some proshippers need to stop being so ableist and anti psychotic

There is a lot of ableism from the proship community.

Please note this is about the community, and not the stance of it, I do not really focus on, nor do I care about labeling shipping stances myself as my view on fiction is very nuanced.

Saying things like "fiction doesn't affect reality" is 1. exclusionary to those with delusions and others, and 2. dangerous to representation.

This blog has no official shipping stance as either group can be ableist or experience ableism.

Super Important Please Read!!

I really hate that I even have to make this post. It’s a disappointing joke, and overall baffling to me but I will.

It’s come to my attention that there’s a really sad anon out there randomly going into peoples inboxes and telling them I’m “problematic” with no further explanation as to why or what I’ve supposedly done.

Now I don’t know who exactly this anon is or what their problem is, but I do know one thing for sure: they’re one of Rot’s ignorant little dick riders. (Quick reality check: She hasn’t changed at all btw, sorry to burst your bubble!)

I've been a victim of both harassment and sexual harassment and stalking too, so it's wild to see myself being accused of the very thing I've been put through. Like, what is it, Opposite Day or something? Because I think I'd remember being fucking pathetic enough to go out of my way to harass someone, but you know what I do remember? The crying, the anxiety, the overwhelming sense of dread and sleepless nights, and the paranoia mixed with helplessness. That is something you unfortunately don’t forget when you’re made to go through that.

Oh, and yeah, I am self-shipper and always will be, but I am not a part of that godforsaken shitty community whatsoever anymore. I have never once harassed any other shippers; I block and move on because, frankly, as someone who's experienced it, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Not to mention I do not have the energy emotionally or physically to be doing shit like that; I have actual hobbies and interests to dedicate my time to.

Anyway, since anon is in some made-up dream world where the roles seem to be reversed, here's all the real shit you need to see for what I've had to deal with:

Honestly, I'm not surprised. I have experienced attention seeking, fetish loving kids in my day, but never had I heard anyone having the same personality like this Simonthestar guy in a damn while.

A mean, bossy, art thief, that harass others when he doesn't get what you want, supports fetishes, and is only 11 years old.

Eri x Bullied!Child!Reader

"So Eri, are you excited for your first day of school?" Mirio cheerfully called out, holding Eri's hand as they walk to their destination. "Yeah! School is the place where you learn and make friends right?" Eri tilted her head in a puppy like manner, making the blonde boy chuckle.

"Mhm. Best part is, you get to make friends. That's how me, Amajiki, and Nejire met." "A friend is someone you feel connected and comfortable with right?" Eri asked, trying to comprehend the word. "You got it. But I guess family can be like that too. So a friend is basically that but you aren't related." Mirio responds with a smile, as they stop at the cross walk, waiting to cross.

Eri nodded, not really understanding the word.

When they got to the school and her class, Eri was terrified. All of the yelling, screaming, banging, jumping, everything just startled her, so she hid herself behind Mirio's leg, before the class teacher could approach.

Luckily, Eri's prayers have been heard and the teacher shut the kids up before walking over to the gray haired girl.

"Hi there! You must be Eri, nice to meet you sweetie." The teacher said sweetly. Sickly sweetly. Like it was filled with a babying voice like she was talking to a one year old. Eri was more mature than that! She likes being looked at older. So she hid into Mirio's leg even more.

"Oh!" The teacher exclaimed. She wasn't used to kids acting like this. 'She must be shy.' she thought. "Don't worry miss, she's probably just on edge at the moment from the chaotic energy." Mirio laughed, casually brushing off any remaining awkwardness.

"It's okay. I'm just not used to such, shy kids." The teacher took quite a long pause, and turned to the kids again. Then it was happening again. The little (h/c) haired child, sitting in the corner being cornered by a group of kids.

That seemed to catch Eri's attention, and she got a little out of behind Mirio's leg to get a better look. Then she remembered something. Overhaul...

Eri began to tear up a little, but quickly concealed evidence so no one would be worried.

Before she knew it, Mirio has left and she was left at the school, learning weird things like certain lines and curves make numbers and those number are used for something called math.

However, when it was time for recess the entire class went outside into the school field. Playing tag, hide and go seek, ring around the rosie, patty cake, ball, anything you could imagine. Eri couldn't decide which group to choose!

Until see saw that same kid from before who was cornered by the few other kids. The one with (e/c) eyes, (h/c) hair, and (s/c) skin. And Eri decided to approach the child until she heard a certain yelling. It came from the kid, who was at the corner of the field being hit by a group of kids.

Eri wouldn't be having that. Someone hurting someone else who did nothing. But then Izuku came into her mind. How he HAD to hurt someone to save someone else, and how much pain she felt from Chisaki. But this didn't seem the same. It looked like the group of kids were harassing the (h/c) haired child.

So Eri decided to step in. Just like everyone did when she was in pain. The more she walked, the faster her pace got, until she was practically running, with the look of dreaded anger in her eyes.

All that she saw was red. The red of blood that she shed when Overhaul experimented on her. The red of blood that poor kid was shedding right now. The red of all the murdered victims of when she wanted to escape. She was being bathed in anger. Remembering how she felt when she was in pain and suffering.

She stomped over infront of the bullies. She had gained a pretty good amount of control of her quirk recently. Practicing on small things like flowers and bugs. But she hoped her anger wouldn't get too out of control.

"Hey!" She shouted. "Leave them alone you big rude meanies!" The bullies were unfazed at this confrontation. "So what are you gonna do about it, dinosaur?" One of them mocked as the child behind them started tearing up. They remained unfazed until Eri's horn started glowing. Of course, Aizawa had told the school about her quirk and how she has trouble controlling it sometimes, and how it would glow when it's charging up. So the teacher had told the kids to be aware of the deadly quirk the precious girl possessed. So when her horn started glowing, the bullies decided to retreat. Not staying there a second more to figure out what would happen to their bodies.

But when they left, Eri's horn simmered down a bit, gaining control over her quirk again she approached the (h/c) haired child, with a worried look, tears threatening to form in her eyes.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Eri asked concerned, offering a hand to the bleeding child, which they accepted. "N-no..." They stammered, gaining their balance. "They forced me to hurt m-myself." Eri sent over a quick out of character glare to the bullies, who were on the opposite side of the field, whistling.

"Don't worry... Let me help." Eri said cautiously, carefully using her quirk to rewind their wounds to before it existed. Her horn began to glow and the cuts began to disappear. When she finished healing them, her horn stopped glowing.

"T-thank you..." The child stammered while blushing a bit. "Don't thank me!" The little girl smiled, striking a pose before shouting, "Power!", like Mirio does. This makes the kid giggle.

"So, w-what's your name...?" The child asks the red eyed kid, with a perk of a smile. "My name is Eri. What's yours?" Eri asked the kid calmly before they silently responded "(Y/N)..."

"Don't worry (Y/N)," Eri began, holding (Y/N)'s hands in hers with a stubborn serious look on her face.

"I'll never let anyone hurt you again."
