Over a montage of home videos, I recall my places I’ve been too but never forgot. The film was originally created with a strict one-minute cap, so I grapple with these memories through a stream-of-consciousness visual connection. I think I even edited out the air between the leaves to condense the film, like one long, breathless run-on sentence. It was messy, but a cathartic outward appearance of stability within everyday images of my friends and family, detached from the context of time; meanwhile, Kraig Kilby’s Musing burst against the film’s grainy images, also bucking the constraints of artificial edges.
