I sing praises for Diana Skelly’s silly art and how goofy it can be to suit the story, but you’ll never get me to hate how she draws Metal Sonic! The shadows do a good job to show how serious he is in this otherwise silly scenario, and his EYES! I don’t know why but Skelly always gives his eyes this light that adds roundnesss to them, I really like that.

Gregorios and a curious looking fellow. Wonder why the interest in that old slab? And when the Apotos museum should be closed too.
Ms. Codex 137 - [Addresses and letters]
This manuscript contains eleven addresses and letters by Ioannes Dokeianos (Johannes Docianus). The first is an encomium to Constantine Palaiologos. It also includes a prosphonemation to Theodoros Porphyrogenetos and a letter to Helen, daughter of Demetrios Palaiologos. Moreover, it features two works of Patriarch Gregorios II of Constantinople (1283-1289): his encomium on St. Dionysius the Areopagite and his encomium on the sea. The manuscript was assembled in the second half of the 16th century.

Chrysanthos is not like other epheboi
New OC ref sheets😍📬💫
Gregorios (top) is a speechwriter for the Roman prefect in Athens who always gets wrapped up in his boss' drama. ("prefect" is very much a placeholder title if I ever figure out how exactly that city was administered in the 2nd century.) In addition to being very talented and successful he’s extremely sensitive, a perfectionist, and doesn't really have the backbone for hardcore politics. Gregorios is a Virgo and Chrysanthos’ lover.
Anatolios (bottom) is the neighborhood blacksmith. He is a good listener except to Seleukos’ poetry collection, and many of the characters come to him with their problems (especially the epheboi who all crush on him). Anatolios is a Leo sun and Sagittarius moon. He is Chrysanthos’ other lover.
More about the story and characters in the #my ocs tag! (even though I have to update those soon). Thank you for reading🥰😘
