I honestly think Gremlin Copernicus had a lot of wasted potential.
He’s basically one of the few in Wasteland trying to study what OUR world was like. Heck, there seems to be indication that almost NOTHING is known to them about the “Real” World. The game even seemed to imply the Mad Doctor didn’t know about the real world because he believed making the TOON audience remember him would get him out of Wasteland in his plan.
Imagine Gremlin Copernicus, studying the “not toon or inert” items slowly discovering we exist. Imagine him slowly trying to figure out how toons are created, and discovering the animation process.
Imagine him attempting to communicate with us to learn more, maybe even making a TV similar to what Gus used to contact Mickey.
...Imagine him finding out we don’t even know they’re real.
