This was what she wanted. She had prayed to the gods for some sort of closure, and this was their gift to her for years of waiting. This was their apology for having her suffer so terribly.

Today is @peggyoung‘s 22nd birthday and I thought I’d celebrate it with a picture featuring the feared, awe-inspiring, intimidating Lady of Highpoint. “My Mom,” Greta Bole/Whitehill.

I suppose this is a slightly strange choice of scene for someone’s birthday - but it’s one of my favourite scenes for Greta. Though it’s fairly unseen thus far in the AU, she’s an incredibly strong character and,to me, this scene seems to mark a turning point in her character - where she starts truly considering herself a Whitehill and draws inspiration from them to really look deep within herself and find that inner strength which helps her face her demons.
