all my trafficblr friends are grian pov ers and they don't know im his biggest op. Yes ik its his series but i feel like he makes himself too much of the main character and doesnt follow his own rules.

normal hermit stuff hes great if not a little overhyped. but the minute that series starts lifing im filled with so much distain 😭😭

rules are only a suggestion so you can assist a red name in killing other non-red players for your own benefit, rules are only a suggestion so you can make traps and lure players into them as a green name for your own benefit, rules are only a suggestion so you can basically reset anything that goes not as the admin planned because who even cares! but killing the admin as a consequence of the hard coded death game mechanic that forces players to kill someone random is totally unacceptable. it literally violates the rules! no the admin didn't hard code himself to have an advantage literally a couple of sessions earlier. why are you asking? are you mad??? broooo chill it's just a gameeee oh my god! you're so parasocial

Tbh i find the Villies a hard watch since their dynamic lowkey triggers me because the control and isolation reminds me of a friend and her bf 😭

No bc why are they treating her like that? Telling her that she's not good enough to be a villain (e.g. her being friendly with others) while also telling her that she's too evil (e.g. being immediately accused of stealing etho's horse and not able to let her explain) making her thread between the lines of "not evil" and "too evil"

Then there's the isolation part when they intentionally Pearl out and go on to make alliances and deals with others without even asking her opinion then become extremely possessive when others wanted to interact with her. They also love to bring up their grudge in her opinions about the lighthouse as a way to constantly differentiate her from them and then outright saying that they don't listen to her at all

Not only are they isolating Pearl from the group, but they're also isolating her from the rest of the server because of their self-induced paranoia. Like if you want to keep your girl you better start treating her right

They are definitely projecting their feelings onto Pearl and I can see them leaving her the moment she makes a mistake without even hearing her side of it. The only time they seem to care about her was when she became the boogeyman since this is finally the time they can live their bloodthirsty intents through her. After the boogey kill they just went back forgetting her existence at all

I really hope she confronts them about this or just leave them for another alliance because my girl deserves better

TLDR; Grigem acting like a shitty partner towards Pearl by:

a) constantly changing the criteria of being a villy so that she won't fit in

b) not caring about her opinions at all

c) controlling her interactions with others

d) projecting their paranoia and bloodthirstiness onto her

past life: hide and seek, but the seeker gets to secretly recruit several players to a secret alliance to seek everybody together

nice life: hide and seek, but no hiding each round is just the players choosing who will be punched in a circle for ten minutes

i'm sorry i know it's petty i just don't have anyone to talk about that really. i really like life series i love the people and the old seasons is one of the best things that happened to mcyt. i just need to spit it out. the last couple of seasons are just one massive disadvantage to the players to another, yes, grian is affected by some of them as well, but if you squint it just starts to look like a big try to a) get another win b) just to ragebait everyone because grian really likes to do it. ugrh!!!! it's not that hard to get at least two beta testers when you have SUCH a huge community and it's also not that hard to make a game that would be fair when you already have examples. fuck my miserable life

I am so happy Grian didn't win.

He spent the entire season terrorizing the rest of the server and then was surprised when the rest of the server didn't like him very much.

And I can't help but feel like his 'revenge' was less about avenging Pearl and more about killing Jimmy. Every season he just targets Jimmy for the stupidest reasons.

I hope Grian keeps on losing in the most stupid and pathetic ways <3

Also Grian is not nearly as tragic of a character as the fandom makes him to be. Like "Oh no his allies die before him! How sad and angsty!" Girl Grian doesn't give a single flying fuck about his allies.

No worries, I love ramble asks! So gla to see another Villy/ Gem Grian hater :] yeah, it was so funny in retrospect to see everybody making posts about how tragic it was that the entire server was turning against Grian when... that was the entire thing he was doing? His entire plan was be mean to everybody and make them hate him? To be the 'villain'? It was incredibly self-inflicted, nothing 'tragic' about that, it seemed more a ploy for pity TBH.

The fandom consensus that Grian was going to sacrifice himself for Gem's win when in reality he turned on her like a rabid dog the second he could to snipe the win for himself is honestly the best showcase of fanon v. canon I've seen in a while!

Recently, I've really hated Grians content. Like, he just doesn't seem like he's having fun anymore. Not only in his own videos but also in other people's streams. He's like always complaining. I just feel like the poor guy needs a break.

hey. I would never say this to an artist directly, because I don’t want to be rude or hurtful, but this is a confessions blog. so.

I really cant stand the wings-instead-of-ears thing. If the character is an angel with multiple sets of wings, thats one thing. But when it’s just a bird dude it drives me crazy. Why not give him human ears and also feathers coming out behind them?
