“what’s your problem?”
sentence starters - NOT ACCEPTING
' what’s your problem? ‘ the stranger asks. well does she have one ? in general - yes she does. several in fact. but with this man - none at all. she doesn’t even KNOW him. ❝ problem ? no problem here. or with me. or with you. ❞ it’s a bit worrying. if random strangers are figuring out she’s got problems, that means her carefully constructed facade is SLIPPING. ❝ why ? can you tell something’s wrong ? ❞
raspberry, passion fruit, strawberry
raspberry: favorite flower?
He doesn’t know flowers very well--he’s bought a few penny bouquets as gifts, because he was raised to be polite and not show up places empty-handed, but he’s not particularly well-versed. However, he remembers his mom liking tulips. He doesn’t remember very much else about his parents, but he remembers the tulips. So he likes tulips, I guess.
passion fruit: how would you describe your style?
He wouldn’t. The general aesthetic is “schlubby grad student who cares more about science than his wardrobe.” (Felicia, this is where you come in!) It’s somewhere between the MCU and the PS4 game: worn jeans, graphic tees, oversized flannels, hoodies, grubby Converse high-tops. (He’s moved past doodling on the rubber toes, but there’s a graveyard of them somewhere.) (I will also defend teenage skater punk TASM Peter Parker with my dying breath--he’s matured, but he’ll never forget.) Sometimes he wears his dad’s old glasses, even though he’s had perfect vision since he was fifteen. He likes the way they look.
strawberry: favorite desserts?
Anything Aunt May bakes, especially cherry pie, or sufganiyot. Also a good ice cream. Or a black & white. Or a cannoli? Ooh, baklava. No, babka. (He’s a New York City kid with an endless appetite and a deep appreciation of delis and street food. It goes deep.)
