Trivia

His name is also romanized as "Grifforzer".

He is Lamy's husband. The couple had a son that was introduced in the final episode of Zyuranger.

Grifforzar was mute until around episode 20. In exchange for Lamy's help, Bandora restored Grifforzar's voice.

Grifforzar was considerably more vicious and less humorous than his teammates. His Power Rangers counterpart, Goldar, was eventually reduced to a source of comic relief. It should be noted that a new costume was made for Goldar in Saban's adaptation.

Grifforzar's original voice actor was Yoshimitsu Chida. Later, Kan Tokumaru took over the part.

Unlike most evil generals in Super Sentai series, Grifforzar survived.
