Once I was staying up late at my house n I was chilling watching videos in the living room n I heard someone from down the hall rasp “what are you doing” rly judmentally n I thought it was my sisters but they all said they were asleep then

g o d that would freak me out so bad.

the only time something like that has ever happened to me is when I was walking out of the living room and I heard “yeah you KEEP walking” in an angry tone and I was like  “WHOMST........” but it was just some dude on the TV I was angry at first and then a little scared

Who would you say is the main protagonist of ffak? Not necessarily a protagonist whose good or evil but the person most in the shit of the story lol

this question is like.. so.. difficult to answer tbh. considering how characters perspectives cycle around and their dynamics often are like, weighed heavily with other characters. It kinda makes it impossible for me to see certain characters like.. ‘alone’ or ‘separate’ from eachother to be independent enough to be like….”the main” protag? If that makes sense.  I have literally sat and debated on this answer for a long fucking time, for so many months n.. oh god years now right? lord. anyway, its TUFF N HARDDD for me to THINKIES about b/c ffak’s format makes it complicated lol. Not to mention when i look at, lets say, Scissor and Spoon– i must see them as separate characters, yet they are literally the same guy originally and share most of all their history, so its like..???? a nightmare.

UHHHHHHHHHH anyway ….I’d say Knife has the most ‘shit’ in the story out of any character, content wise. I could… possibly? label him as the main protagonist??? but that might make him mad at me and i don’t really need that drama in my life. He does have a lot of stuff in his story tho. And many characters know him!! or have some connection to him!! so like, theres more points in the ‘important person’ department or whatever. :/ We also get a pretty intimate look on his emotions/perspective over the course of his whole fuckin life, so that kinda puts him in the position of a very typical.. protag kinda character. he’s… somewhat relatable? he suffers!  idk obviously we’re putting morals aside so i’m not going to worry about how he pretty much fits the role of main anatonist as well considering he wants to like, kill his whole species or w/e. LOL knife damn it stop being complicated

BUT ALSO.. i still very much consider our mysterious amnesia King Worm Antony/Canary as well as the mysterious Celadon to be like.. THE most.. idk the most essential feast for a king ‘characters’?  like.. the characters that all The Big Ol Stinkin Plot Stuff cycles around? Both of them were the first dynamic duo i made for this comic when it was just called “Help” so really, it feels like their ‘story’ at the root of it all. It literally wouldnt exist without ‘em. I would not have started drawing this dang ol’ thing if i had not made those 2 characters!!! :|

then im like well, obviously, i also want fork to be the protag because he’s the most good boy and thats why i make all the bonus chapters for him and his hairy lovable chest!

is forks real name actually kurt?

That’s what Knife named him, yup! Although Kurt considers his ‘Fork’ name to be just as real of a name as Kurt. So its more like he has two names?Knife named him a K-name to match his name... wow how dorky.Also Kurt sort of sounded like “Cute” to him which is what Fork was.. so it just fit! ???

What I love about your comic-besides good art/designs-is that it keeps my attention and trying to analyze every new update!! Like new info??? Unravel!! And it just keeps me rereading to try to better understand such grade A stuff
