Sad Golden Guard and Belos idea. Spoilers for the first half of season 2. We already have the idea that Hunter might be artificially created (grimwalker, iirc). Building off that potential, I'm asking WHY was Hunter created. What if Hunter is a backup body for Belos? I mean,, we already know body swapping is possible, though why Belos wouldn't swap into an actual witch body is anyone's guess. This also goes hand in hand with the idea that Belos might be Wittbane. But in an artificially created body. It could explain why both of them are unable to use magic, and potentially why Belos himself needs to drink bile from palismans. It's entirely possible that older Grimwalkers need more and more magic to actively sustain them, and Belos's current body has to be pushing 70 at the LEAST. And if you look at both Belos and Hunter, they do look... really similar. Which sure, can be explained by them being uncle and nephew. Except I didn't realize having a portion of your ear missing was genetic in the Boiling Isles.
