I think part of the confusion comes from the fact that your spidey looks kinda young, due to the fact that he's like a foot shorter and scrawny. I used to think they were teens as well until you said they were married, then i just kind of went, oh that makes more sense

admit i can’t

draw men very well;;

on top of me always imagining spider-man as lean and not very muscly, i always saw him that way when i was little, so it’s carrying over now. i try extremely and consciously hard to make them look their ages. but i’m glad you said that because, since i’m not the best artist when it comes to this, i have to rely on context and story.
