Grindle Point Light, Islesboro, Maine. In the summer, Grindle Point Light is one of the only lighthouses in the state that permits the public to climb to the top of the tower. It and the adjacent Sailor's Museum are located right next to the ferry landing, so no need to walk far when visiting (zero cars on this picturesque island.)
