Behind the Scenes of a Grocery App Cart Screen Design for a Grocery Shopping Mobile App
This My Cart screen for Grocery Shopping Mobile App was created with a problem-solving mindset: how do you help users review, compare, and commit to purchase in one seamless glance? I started by mapping out user emotions during checkout—urgency, caution, and a need for clarity.
The top section showcases items with a clean visual rhythm. By aligning the image, name, price, and quantity actions in predictable patterns, I reduced the cognitive load. Buttons were designed with strong affordance and spacing to support quick adjustments.
The middle section focuses on transparency. Many users abandon carts due to hidden fees, so I intentionally surfaced all costs clearly. The coupon area encourages savings without disrupting flow.
Color strategy also plays a key role. The warm orange anchors the experience, subtly guiding attention to the primary action while keeping the interface friendly and consistent.
Every small detail was engineered to help users feel in control.
Which part of this flow would you iterate on if conversion was your main KPI?
