the first thing that popped into my head was: zuko had good character growth and a good redemption arc but i would not call it the BEST. but a good redemption arc is hard to do and zuko had a good one so!! i get why people call it the best but i disagree. i personally thought razer from gltas had a much better redemption arc but that’s just me.

my main fandom rn is rwby and i’m not sure if i have an unpopular opinion about the fandom?? i think they’re WAY too hard on crwby and they want to be angry over stupid, irrelevant ass shit and i genuinely don’t understand why they’re watching the show. it’s clearly not the show they thought it was gonna be, so move on! like ???
Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?
korra and asami make perfect sense as a ship and i think the comic is really going to highlight that, but them being endgame was super rushed. that also said, I DONT FUCKING CARE IF IT WAS RUSHED? people acting like makorra or wtfe would’ve been better like...shut up. makorra was rushed to hell in season 1 and i didnt see its shippers complaining lmao. lok is just an overall weirdly paced show, and the finale reflected that and i don’t like ppl acting like korrasami wasn’t a last minute decision, but it was a GOOD last minute decision. rushed or not, it makes perfect sense for korra and asami to fall in love, and it’s a thousand times better than a makorra endgame (which ALSO would’ve been hella rushed since they broke up for good in season 2 and didn’t even try and fix their relationship?? so like ?? them being endgame wouldve made no goddamn sense for either character lmao)
If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?
the pacing of v4 of rwby was really weird and all over the place. a lot of stuff could’ve been cut or rearranged. i hold the unpopular opinion that v4 was ok, but it just had the unfortunate fate of being right after rwby’s BEST season and it got overhyped bc of that. if i could, i would rearrange the pacing more of v4, and cut out a lot of shit w/ rnjr and oscar and even some blake and weiss shit, given yang more scenes, and had more going on in the finale than just rnjr fighting a big ass grimm?? also would’ve had more direct mentions of the events of v3, especially from blake and yang talking about each other lmao.
