Sore wings being used as a makeshift blanket. It’s just that the whumpee is so cold and touch starved that they’re willing to take their own wing’s embrace.
The whumpee’s wings used to be colorful and soft, but weeks of captivity made the whumpee rip feathers off out of stress, leaving the wings messy and patchy.
The whumper loves how soft they are, they’ll usually run their hands across them to feel how wonderful they are- the whumpee’s discomfort doesn’t matter.
