I was wondering how do you get back to reality? I've struggled with dissociation ever since I was 3, and I don't remember if I've ever gone back to reality. Like I know it's reality but I feel so detached and distant, I just want to know any tips to make me feel more connected to reality.

there are many different things that can help, but generally it's very personal!!
for cheese, getting outside and gardening or generally working with plants helps, as well as Hot showers and Loud music that he can scream along to. he also suggests weighted blankets and stuffed animals if you can!! or even like a good friend you trust, o says it helps him to have something/one Alive be near and sit on it's lap or something
try out some breathing or grounding exercises, if you search up "grounding exercises" usually there are a fair few that pop up. check those out for sure!!
