🎶SUPERMUSER STATUS🎶 Contrary to popular belief, yo gurl may love to dance her face off at any moment there's a disco, bass-y, funky 808 slapping, but I also love to SIT DOWN and drown in the power of my auditory senses. Classical music just does it for me; simply said, it brings me so much peace and joy. The experience is entrancing for me, sonically, physically, and emotionally. From the depths of my soul, I'm moved to tears by the emotion invoked by these classical performances. @publiq4tet really came through last night with their celebration in America's diversity in their music. It was moving and powerful, and physically connected me with my strength, love, and respect for my country, let alone, the roots of my immigrant parents'. But, I say all this to give much praise and thanks to @groupmuse, who has enlightened and ignited my love for chamber music and given me the opportunity to hear talented artists from all over this city in such unique experiences and locations like the MET 😱😭😍. I encourage everyone to support the arts, support these incredible musicians, artists, and people putting nothing but positivity into their work and the community. I highly suggest everyone connect with your work teams and bring this experience to your workplace like my Fam at @divisionof, who without them, I'd never even know about Groupmuse. You'll all be happier, more connected people from it, trust me. Music is a universal language that exudes nothing but peace and love.
