Embroidery Group Going Well
My embroidery group at the local library has been running since the start of September, and I've already got two regulars. I taught our teenage page to cross stitch and after two sessions (four hours) worth of instruction, she has hit the ground running. I'll have to ask if I can post some of her projects on here, she does beautiful work! And she gets so excited about it, which gets me excited, and then we completely geek out over pattern books.
Our other member brought in a cross stitch project she started in 1986 (I was in elementary school!) and has been working on that. It's a spring themed piece with lots of small, detailed flowers (repeated many times) and it's just so pretty!
I will definitely have to ask if I can take pictures for the blog.
