MBTI and group projects
ISFJ: First one to volunteer to do extra work and unintentionally makes rest of the people feel bad about themselves. Always remembers what other people said and always lightens the mood by just showing up.
INFJ: Tries to reduce the workload itself by occasionally suggesting useful ideas so everyone can do less work. Often suffer because other people cannot understand what INFJ tries to explain. Usually punctual.
INTJ: Comes up with very detailed plan on the very first meeting and eventually get sick and tired of explaining the plan to the rest of the people. Occasionally sends group members random articles or links that can be helpful for the work.
ESTJ: Organizes meeting schedule on the group chat and update everyone's google calendar. Often points out inefficiency and redundancy of some work then bluntly criticize it. Doesn't even realize the tension that he/she just has created. Extremely punctual.
INFP: Listens to what other people are saying and provides feedback in a most warm and supportive way. Suffer inside because there is no room for creativity in this group project.
ESFJ: First one to creat group chat room for everyone. Has everyone's phone number. Always suggests to get some food after work. Tries to make the work fun and enjoyable to everyone. Often takes others' criticism personally.
ISFP: Well organized. Always writes down the work process and shares it to the rest of the group. Very supportive and agreeable. Points out small details that nobody has not noticed. Easlily get bored when things get repetitive.
ENTP: Has strong opinion and not afraid of showing it. Good at big picture and also good at persuading others. Often lead the meetings. Not very punctual yet always has valid excuse for that.
ISTP: Sits back and listen what other people are saying. Often ends up making power points slides or doing video editing. Surprise people with their work even though they seem uninterested in the group work itself. Probably do anything but presentation.
ISTJ: Being irritated about having to do group work from the first place. Asks "ok so what do I need to do" and do their part perfectly. Mostly quite but occasionally makes comments that is so on point that it is scary that he/she has been so quite.
ENFJ: Prefers group work over individual work. Always passionate and willing to help people as long as it benefits the whole group's work. Usually the one to cool down conflicts between people and compromise.
INTP: Actually get things done. Do research and bring resourses to the meeting. Most of the time already read all the related materials before the first meeting. One who remembers details of the assignment guidelines.
ENTJ: Very good leader until they make one of the group memeber mad/cry. Actually cares about the work and wants to do a good job as a whole. Fair to everyone so there's no place for favorism. They want to bring the best out of the people which can looks like a little pushy. Great presenter.
ESFP: Doesn't mind group work. Usually cannot understand why people are arguing and just want everyone to get along well and finish the work on time. Feel happy when everyone seems having a good time even thought it means getting nothing done. Craks jokes a lot.
ENFP : Makes jokes about others work but never actually criticizes people. Often seems not serious about the work but actually know what is going on, making them a pretty good leader because they are great listener. Appriciate other's creativity but usually realistic and down to earth when it comes to actual work. Hates control freaks.
ESTP: Well-around, very chill and reasonable with work. Usually good at hands-on, practical part of the work. They don't mind giving presentation or leading the group but prefer to do something not too formal.
i like having group works because it means more people working together because i really need help at times, but then i realise im a shitty groupmate, like i really really want to help, but i just dont know how to do it or even properly and u guys might think im useless and just cast me aside. so id rather fail if its just me. i dont wanna drag anyone down.
Leadership blues
When you're in a groupwork and that one groupmate doesn't do his/her assigned job which he/she agreed to do, I want to just ostracize him/her, to forget him/her and not include him/her in the submitted project.
But alas. I'm too merciful T_T
Damn this babying attitude...
