The picture on the left is about 1 year ago. It was the beginning of my fitness journey. It was the first sweaty selfie I posted in my group. . The picture on the right is my sweaty selfie today. Same headband, different women! . Yes, I've lost weight and kept it off my modifying my lifestyle. But this journey has been so much more than that. I've let go of toxic people and surrounded myself with positive ones. I am caring less about what others think of me because I am loving myself more. I am growing my confidence. I am taking more time for me and doing what I love. And I could go on! . I took a risk and made an investment right before Christmas but I assure you it was the best decision of my life. I'm healthier, happier, and loving life more. Every day isn't perfect but I'm learning to fine the perfect in each day. 💕 . You ready to take the first step? The realisation...

So yesterday my husband and I came to a serious realisation. After 2 1/2 years of marriage we realised that our road has been laden with the things it has to bring us to this point.

We have been trying for a baby for our entire marriage and before; yes the flesh is weak. Recently I have been under a fertility clinic having lots of investigations and the take home message has been lose weight because whatever the next steps your BMI is not ok. So over the past couple of months I've been making a real go of doing the damn thing. 😳🏃🏽‍♀️As you can imagine it started off being about a baby and now has become a mission to get back to the size I once was.

Now the infertility journey has been pants. And no matter how much I honestly except God's timing is on point. The struggle is real each month. Right now we're at the fun week between something could be going down to period due. 😐No matter how much I tell myself to chill out I can't and even now I'm overcome with emotion; honestly probably tiredness mixed with hormones and only a lil emotion. 🙄But tears even so.😐

Anyway the realisation we came to yesterday was that we know only now after the journey thus far could we truly say ok we could do this parent thing; both having our own parent baggage. Only once we let it go we realised we had any at all. Coupled with the power struggle I mentioned in the 1st year of our marriage my confidence has plummeted since all the weight gain. But yesterday my sexy hubby said he can see my confidence is returning as I lose weight.

The truth is this is new found confidence.

This is I know no matter how hard the road in my marriage is, it's worth it confidence!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽

This is I know my rightful place in my marriage confidence!

This is my husband loves every part of me confidence.❤😍

This is I know God knows best but it's still hard confidence.🙏🏽👌🏽

The road I'm sure will continue to have rocks to trip us up but I'm doing my best to rest in the confidence that God knows best!!
